Jessica Fleischer, M.D.

Dr. Fleischer joined Englewood Orthopedic Associates as an Osteoporosis and Metabolic Bone Diseases specialist. She completed her Endocrinology Fellowship training at Columbia University Medical Center in 2004 and remains on faculty as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine. While at Columbia University, she was the Associate director of the Toni Stabile Osteoporosis Center. She also played an active role in medical education serving as the director the Endocrinology medical student course for 2 years. She currently focuses her clinical practice on Osteoporosis and Calcium disorders. She is a certified Clinical Densitometrist with advanced training in the interpretation of bone density scans. She has published multiple articles involving Osteoporosis and bone metabolism.

She is licensed in New Jersey and New York and is Board Certified in Endocrinology, now specializing in Osteoporosis and Metabolic Bone Diseases.

Dr. Fleischer plans to continue a strong tradition of compassionate and quality patient care and patient education with Englewood Orthopedic Associates. Her expertise in bone metabolism and fracture prevention adds a new and exciting dimension to the practice.

Education

Dr. Fleischer received her B.S. from Haverford College in Molecular and Cellular Biology. She completed her medical education at SUNY Stony Brook. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center focusing on Women’s Health. At University of Pittsburgh, she also served as Chief Resident of the Internal Medicine Program. Her Endocrinology fellowship was completed at Columbia University Medical Center.
