Jay Panchal, MD

Dr. Panchal received his MD from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He completed a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation and a spine and sports medicine fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the Association of Academic Physiatrists, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the North American Spine Society, and the Spine Intervention Society. Dr. Panchal is board eligible in physical medicine and rehabilitation. In addition to English, Dr. Panchal is fluent in Gujarati.

His goal as a physiatrist is to improve a patient’s function and help them safely return to activities they love doing, whether it be competing at sports or simply being more active. He listens carefully to his patients to determine the best non-surgical treatment plan to improve their quality of life. His clinical interests include back and neck pain, musculoskeletal injuries, joint disease, interventional pain management, and sports medicine. He has expertise in Fluoroscopic Spinal Injections Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, Platelet Rich Plasma Injections, Joint, Bursa, and Soft Tissue Injections.
